Here at Issue TV, we believe that media has the potential to make great change in the world by shifting consciousness and educating the public. We also understand that many grassroots and non-profit groups fighting for support don’t have the funds or knowledge to make media to promote their cause. We create websites, films, business cards, brochures, books, and other promotional materials for promotion of grassroots and non-profit groups.
The Navajo Nation Dependents of Uranium Workers Committee is one such organization. This group of widows and children of Navajo Uranium Miners now fight for funds for epidemiological health studies, recognition and financial support. Many of these impoverished grandmothers do not speak English. We created a poster, business cards, a website and a film for them to help them in their struggle.
