While we were in Cameroon in June of 2013 we met Hild Bih, an inspiring radio host from Cameron with a National Radio show. Hilda has Muscular Dystrophy and has been slowly loosing her ability to move her limbs since she was a child. Her family helps her do everything, including the simplest things like moving from room to room. When she was here on on a presidential fellowship for young African leaders in September of 2014 we raised funds to send her home with an electric wheelchair that has given her the independence she needs to continue to make an impact for women in Cameroon. In a place where women are scarcely heard, Hilda Bih has a voice to be reckoned with. Here is the video that helped to raise funds for her.
